In the final round of the 2003 VAFA season, Ticker took up his regular spot at full back. Team-mates Bouza and Dogmat were unable to join him on the field that day, so they chose instead to [both] support and at times heckle him [and his opponents] from the outer. By game's end they had amassed a throng of peers, passers-by and stray pets, all sharing their views, jeers and enjoyment of our great game ... and so the Peanut Gallery began.
 
Since then those three founding members have shared their love of footy and in most recent times fantasy footy competitions.
